I'm thinking of having a party at a hotel for my friend. What are some foods/party trays that I can bring that doesn't really need refrigertion? Any tips to keep food hot or cold? I was thinking about those bags that supposedly keep hot food hot, and cold food cold. Do they really work?

a simple way to keep something hot may be to cook it ona cookie tray and keep it it covered by tinfoil. bacon and scallops, while expensive, after you cook them tend to stay hot and are pretty popular. and you can never go wrong with plates of cheese, crackers and some pepperoni....

Styrofoam coolers and/or Coleman coolers? Bring the platters separately and set up beforehand. And then fill the coolers with hotel ice and chill down the beverages.
