Potato is not considered a vegetable - at least not for nutrition purposes. Anyway my favourite fruit is probably the apple. I just love the flavour of the juice and the taste of the apple skin. not a big fruit lover however. My favourite vegetable is probably either turnip or white cabbage. Hard to decide. I love the taste of both. the yellow colouring of the turnip also adds to a colourful plate.

I like veggies and fruits with strong taste.
Really tart apples - i pick then from our trees, not sure of the variety names..its a bonus when i get a cooker by mistake ! ( athough you can only have a couple of bites )
If you like fruit you could try the national fruit collection in Kent as a day trip, its fantastic, they have 500 apple varieties !!
Also, why not try Apple festivals, normally in October but you might find some left this weekend. They have all sorts of varieties, mostly organic as well. It makes you realise what we're missing by restricting ourselves to a supermarket choice.
Sprouts !. I've already got ours on the boil for Christmas.
Parsnips, Swede, brocolli, spinich......emmm, i like winter and Christmas day.

I agree with you about potatoes, so versatile and so delicious!
Favourite fruit would have to be a 'fruitable', probably aubergines or peppers. It's weird but I just can't regular fruits, something about the texture just makes me gag. Been that way since I was a toddler too. Right, I'm done oversharing!

ooooooh I like this question! My favourite fruit is definitely a wild Scottish raspberry. So ripe it's purple, and bursting with sweetness. Nothing like the sour almost pink things from the supermarket!
Veg hmmm depending on my mood either steamed broccoli stem, or brussels sprouts cut in half and fried cut side down in butter til they are brown and crisp - heavenly!

I love spinach because it tastes yummy as a soup or in pizzas and quiches. It also is a good source of antioxidants. It also reminds me a little of my childhood perhaps because of the whole Popeye connotation it entails.
My favourite fruit is a mango because I love the taste of it whether it's in a smoothy or just eaten plainly as a fruit. It's also a fruit I could never get bored of unlike apples. Also I'm part Peruvian and mangos are one of Peru's most successful exports.

Fave fruit - watermelon because it's sweet, tasty, juicy and delicious, and it reminds me of long hot holidays in the south of Italy, when we'd always end lunch with a huge HUGE watermelon (at least twice the size of the ones we get here). They were so big there was always plenty left over for a watermelon fight!
Fave veg - asparagus cos it makes my wee smell funny!

Raspberries are brilliant, they're my favourite. You can make loads of different stuff with them or have on their own. I'm going through a phase of adding a handful to my musli in the morning.
As for favourite vegetable, I'm torn between asparagus and garlic. Asparagus is just delicious steamed with oilive oil, black pepper and a little salt. Garlic on the otherhand is great as it's good for all sorts of ailments. It boosts your imune system, it's anti fungal, it clenses your blood, and sorts out most of my culinary disasters!

Oooh potatoes for me as well, mashed with lots and lots of butter. Fave fruit has to be bananas, preferably covered with Skippy peanut butter or in a milkshake with chocolate ice cream... who says fruit and veg have to be healthy? Lol.
