No such thing as safe sex!
I just attended an educational program that shocked me and I'm a 29 yr old mother of two- thought I knew everything I needed to.

Apparently condoms only completely protect boys and only from 2 of the approximately 30 std's out there. Condoms may reduce risk, but they do not protect you. Since condom use has gone up in the 1970's the cases of STD's have actually skyrocketed. People think that they're protected and go buck wild having as much sex as they want whereas, without condoms, a person is more likely to be discriminating.

The term "safe sex" really just lends itself to a false sense of security. Protect yourself and abstain. If you cannot control yourself, invest in a vibe.

Use a condom for penetrative sex acts. Wear a rubber glove if putting your hand or fingers into the other person. The basics are to not expose yourself to another persons bodily fluids - don't let their fluids get into your body.
"Dry humping", as mentioned by another responder, works well for safe sex, but I'd recommend you both wear jeans to avoid crabs.
You can be "sexual" without having sex: mutual masturbation, massage, "showing off", talking dirty on the phone, etc.

find a stable monogamous relationship, talk openly with that person, go to the doctors and get tested for std's with your partner, and use condoms, why would it be uncomfortable?...if your comfortable with the person everything should be fine...communication is important. if you cannot talk openly and honestly about anything with some one your not ready to be physically intimate with them. maybe your trying to ask if the first time is uncomfortable?...and yes sometimes the first time can be for some people it is...go slow and communicate...it will get better.

Dont sleep around...only have sex with someone you have been dating for a while, after you know thier lifestyle (they havent slept around a lot, dont do drugs, etc). you will know whether its safe to have sex with that person without a condom or not (for disease prevention). ALWAYS be on birth control if you are sexually active or not, you never know when you will meet someone.

Always use a condom, even for oral sex. Condom use is NOT uncomfortable for either partner. You could try having "dry sex", which does not involve penetration and both partners wear their underwear or more.

Wear a condom. Trojan are safe, just becarful, if your partner cares about you then he will be careful with you. BC is good, but it not use a condom always, there not that bad.
