You should still get tested, and the doctor can call you about the results after you move. If you need to get treated, you can find a doctor near your area and ask your previous doctor to fax over your records to the new doctor.

It doesn't hurt to call your doctor to tell them your situation too, and see what can be done.

You can either wait and be tested once and get any treatment needed or postpone your move until you receive your results. Find out from your MD how long the results will take, Some results are on the spot, some take 24 hours to grow a culture.

Go to your visit in 5 days, at that visit the doctor will test you, the nurse can call you with your results and then if you have moved the doctor can call in your prescription to any pharmacy or Walgreen's of your choice in an area where you are for you to pick up. I know this because I had gotten tested for sore throat before I left for Florida this summer and my tests came back for strep positive but I had left for Florida and my doctor called in a prescription for the nearest pharmacy in Daytona Beach, which was a Walgreen's and I picked up my prescription that day and I live in Missouri.

Go to your appointment. It usually take 2-3 days for the results to get in. They will not provide you any prescription until they find out if you have anything. Good Luck.

The doctor can take the specimen and prescribe the medication for you at the same visit. Then you just need to keep in touch by phone to find out if the tests were positive and you need to take the medication.

get tested ASAP. have them put the results on your cell. if you test positive they can fax the results to your new Dr. they can start treatment right away.

be careful. you look so good you could spread this around a lot.

No matter how quick your leaving you should get tested.they can forward the results to were you move, that's not something to play around with because it can progress and cause sever damage possibly even cancer so I would hold this in top priority.

Don't wait for an appointment, get tested ASAP. Just go to any clinic.
I believe the treatment is antibiotics. Once you get your prescription, you can take it anywhere you like.
