if a fellow who didn't wash his hands after peeing or wanking and he touches the remote, the next person who touches the remote; would he get std?
can you get std thru sharing of food; lets say you are infected and happen to have bleeding gums and you are sharing food?

If you have bleeding gums, you shouldn't be sharing food with someone. That's just gross and impolite.
No, you can't catch and STD from handling a remote control. Most bacteria cannot live outside of the human body for very long. Hepatitis can live for a longer time but needs moisture to survive and remain active.
Most diseases need direct skin on skin contact, bodily fluids, especially blood, need to be exchanged.

STD's are spread through contact of bodily fluids. Most STD's will die when left to dry, like on a remote. The most you can get is dirty hands. Yes STD's can be shared if the person has bleeding gums and you share food-blood is a body fluid.

Most STD's can't survive outside of the body. They need the extreme warmth, darkness, and other aspects that our bodies provide. There is not way to catch an STD from your remote example. Sharing food has very small possibilities, but there would have to be very fresh saliva involved.

sharing food or drink can spread herpes if careful handwashing is not observed. (gross) As for getting an std from an inanimate object like a remote or a toilet seat is NOT going to happen. The viruses and bacteria cannot live on an inanimate object long enought to spread in that manner.

No about the first one. STD's are transmitted through sexual contact usually. Yeah know, sex, oral sex, stuff like that. Another thing, I don't think the other one is very likely either. I don't really think you have much to worry about at all. If you want to just get tested.

No No my dear, it aint possible. It is self explanatory, Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD). You can only contact it through the various forms of SEX, either orally or the usual method. So, eatin with an infected person whose Gum is bleeding is not a possibility.

Some stds such as herpes simplex to can come from a simple elbow rub if that is where the person has it.

yes. Std's go to other parts of the body like herpes and you can catch them from kissing or oral sex.
