has anyone ever isolated human immune virus?

Isolate as in identified the virus itself, or Isolated in preventing the spread?

The first has been accomplished, as we would not know it were a vius otherwise, it must be found before it can be identified.

second, I have read that some treatments have reversed the spread and even cured the virus in lab rats, however these same treatments would not be usefull for humans, However it is a start. Progress in treatment options occur every day, However unless a method to apply the treatment to humans is perfected a cure is still some time away.
