most fresh fruits and veggies, juices, milk, yogurt, bananas, oranges, tuna, catfish (lean meats)...avacado, potatoes, peas, cantaloupe, cucumber, nuts, cabbage, mushrooms of all kinds, broccoli, raw tomatoes, squash, even coffee and tea. Hyperkalemia can result with over consumption. You may notice fatique, nausea, muscle weakness and tingeling sensation...although it can be asymptomatic. If you are having kidney troubles then your chances of hyperkalemia are going to be greater, but if you are overall healthy, food high in potassium should not cause hyperkalemia...but overmedicating with potassium in pill form would.

Bananas and orange juice. Sure, too much of anything is bad for you. But 1 banana and one-8oz glass of orange juice a day is fine.
