I went to the one in L.A. It's a fun place to take kids, but you only have to do it one time to get the effect. You can spend anywhere up to a fortune in the gift shop, but you don't have to. My son bought me a letter opener that looks like a sword. It's about 5 inches long and I still have it on my desk after about 10 years. It probably cost under $10.

It can be fun. My husband likes all the action. The one where we live is very expensive, so we don't usually buy much extra out of the gift shop. It is definately worth trying at least once.

It is cool. Bring about 50 to the gift store. Bring extra cash if you want mixed drinks.
The show is fun and the food is good. Hope you don't mind eating with your hands.

medieval times is garbage and very expensive. if you like to drink than it is best you show up early because even though there is like 3 bars while the show is going on they only serve a few types of beer and no mixed drinks. the food sucks and you only get one of everything.1 rib, half a potato, some chicken and dragon soup with one napkin and no utensils.

I thought it was fun...it is very expensive though....It's best to go with a group of people, and it is a show that you will only want to see once.
