i remember the one with the woman kickboxing. what was her opponent thinking? yeah that's just what i always wanted. a woman with an incurable disease sweating all over me. or that one with the girl sitting on a swingset. just tell me which swingset that was so i don't sit on it. and of course, she has some guy who comes up and hugs her from behind. nice going moron, are you aware of her little "problem"?

and what bugs me most is the "sad" music they play. sure i sympathize with people who have herpes, but come on!! you don't catch herpes like you catch a cold. a better commercial would be to tell people to be more careful and selective with who they sleep with.

After having lived with hepes for almost 10 years, at the end of the day, all's herpes is, is just a bloody rash! I can do anything that anyone else can do such as kickboxing, jetskiing, whatever!

I can understand why you wouldnt want to sit on the same "swingset" as i thought the same way you do before my darling partner gave it to me because he was dishonest and did not share. The only REAL bad thing about herpes is the stigma attached to it.

Unfortunatley the virus is out there and people need to know and i dont really think there is a good way of putting it across apart from gay ads that make us look like retards that you should feel sorry for.

Dont feel sorry for me as i am in a relationship now with someone i told beforehand who doesnt give a **** and we are now having a baby.

You cannot get genital herpes from kickboxing or sitting on a swing. The commercials are implying that you should tell your partner that you have herpes, so the man should know of her little "problem."
What are you implying by selective? Because there is no way to tell if someone has herpes unless they are in an active phase (or if they have told you), and you can still contract when they are not in an active phase. I do think that it is a risk you take being sexually active, and your risk goes up the more partners you have.
While I think the commercials are over-dramatized and shown too often, I try not belittle people with an incurable STD.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.
