Shish Taook: chicken kebab..etc..
originally from turkey...but during the othomans empire, the Kebab delicacy invaded all the empire. Nowadays, the best pple known for their kebab are mainly syrians and lebanese.
to enjoy kebab...lamb for example..slice the meat into cubes (big one), pour on them red wine, a bit of mustard (dijon) and keep them in the fridge for 10hrs. w sahtein (at ur health!)

Yes the ones at Persian restaurants are the best! Sultani kebab, lamb kebab, chicken kebab YUMO!!! With Persian rice, must khiar and a little broiled tomato, I'm good to go!
Now you made me have a hunkering, craving, obsession with having a kebab!

kebab is a turquish word that means meat (I guess) so when u say Kebab in Turquie that means u want meat
but in the middle East (Syria and Lebanon) we call Kebab the ground meat mixed with spices and parsley and onion and put on a mettalic bar and then barbecued on a charcoal bbq

Of course. Almost every steak or general menu restaurant offers them. It is almost impossible to avoid those tasty treats. I have had steak, lamb, fish, shrimp, and vegetable (and probably a few more I have forgotten).
if you have a package of skewers, some imagination, and some marinated chunks of meat or vegetables you can have them at home on the grill in no time.
