I had my 50th. last year.....over the hill was fun...The dollar stores have those decorations. Why would you give out party favors at a grown-ups party.Just decorate.

A votive candle in a candle holder and personalized book of matches in a little gift bag... shot glasses (either personalized or not) with or without a mini bottle of liquor (depends on your budget)... picture frame with a thank you note inside so the guest can either reuse the frame or keep the message framed....

Buy everyone a bib and a can of Ensure.
Then bring out the real party. Don't do everything in black. That is sooooooo over done!

buy 4 pound bag of hot wings and deep fry them and put in foil container with lid from dollar store and make hot sauce with butter and hot sauce like tabasco or red hot and mix together melted in microwave pour over all the hot wings and then keep them contained and in fridge just heat day of party

get some of their old pictures and paste them on a ballon and go back and put stuff up there from thirty years ago like the sixtys ha ha they would like that and lot of booze I think
