Fasting blood sugar (taken before meals in the morning) is normally around 70 - 120 mg% .PPBS(post prandial bld sugar) i.e. blood sugar around 2 hrs after a meal is normally below 200mg%. Normal values may vary slightly depending on the lab and method of testing.
Your grandmother's blood sugar is definitely very high. However there is no need to worry. The sugar can be controlled with oral drugs and dietary modification. If she doesn't respond to that she may have to be started on insulin injections.

Your normal blood sugar should be around 80-130 according to some sources. Another source that I found said between 70-115, but the 70 sounds a little low. It is different for every person as to what blood glucose concentration he / she can tolerate. Normally though, anything above the 120-130 range would indicate a high reading.
so your grandama has very high diabeties so the teatement of doctor should go on

Normal blood sugar ranges from 70-120, depending on the individual. A blood sugar of 600 is usually fatal, but can be gotten under control if treated agressively.

It's not the high value, but the inability of the body to use the sugar as fuel in the cells. The body will break down fats instead, to use for fuel, this leads to the formation of ketones. This causes an acidic environment in the bloodstream, that can be harmful. Normal blood sugars range from 60 to 100 mg./dl. A value of 600 means uncontrolled diabetes.

Normal blood sugars should be 4 to 8 mmol/l (70 to 150 mg/dl). .Levels rise after meals and are usually lowest in the morning, before the first meal of the day.
If blood sugar levels drop too low, a potentially fatal condition called hypoglycemia develops. Symptoms may include lethargy, impaired mental functioning, irritability, and loss of consciousness.
If levels remain too high, appetite is suppressed over the short term. Long-term hyperglycemia causes many of the long-term health problems associated with diabetes, including eye, kidney, and nerve damage.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It has at least two different values
while fasting, it should be below 100 mg/dl
two hours after 100 gms of glucose (pp) should be around 150mg/dl
600 mg/dl is a moderately high value and may be very dangerous if untreated. But effective treatment can check the risk to a bottom line, unless it did not have caught the kidneys and retina previously.
