corn flour with water roll it into a dough as thin as possible ,and drop slices into the boiling fat ,

but forget it ,you will never get near to the ones you buy that are made by machines

make home made tagliatelly(flat spagetti)from wheat flour
that is possible and very easy
kneed the dough for a long time
roll flat and cut into strips
take care to put flower on the surface that you are rolling on

try using a pasta maker, using corn flour.. Squeeze out some "lasagna" corn pasta,... cut and deep fry, add salt.

Including a good pasta maker, the 1st batch will cost about $80 for a $1 bags worth.

Its best to buy totrtillas at a grocery store..Guerrero is a good brand of tortillas. Simply cut them in the desired shape of the chip and put in hot oil. Make sure you keep an eye on them because they tend to stick in the beginning and you don't want them to burn.
