Rest assured, no STD would cause a red rash at the top of your thighs. I'm pretty sure I know what the cause is, though. It may be that when having sex, the other person's pubic hairs brushed up against your thighs and created some irratation. It's quite common, actually. It'll go away over time, don't worry it's nothing to panic over.

Could be a sign of an allergic reaction to something you either used or ate. Perhaps from walking so much and thighs are rubbing together. Hard to tell. If it gets worse go see a dr. Usually rashes are early signs of a severe infection too. Good Luck and i hope you feel better.

Chaffing, you need to wear something loose cotton to prevent the legs rubbing and cream the rash with antiseptic nappy rash cream, to soothe it. The skin rubbing together producing heat and moisture causes the rash. Another good healer is neat lavender oil. One of the only oils you can use safely on skin - it helps promote fast healing of the skin (particularly in burns).

It is an an allergic reaction and could be related to the the clothes washing detergent that you are using. The only other explanation is a heat rash and you may have to apply calamine lotion to arrest the rash.

Could be a couple of things. Scabies is one, but those little critters like the very sweaty hot areas. I would imagine they would be a bit higher than the upper thighs, closer to the pubic areas. You don't need intimate sexual contact to get scabies.
On another direction, have you switched laundry detergent lately? That could be the cause.

It could be heat related, an allergy to a cleaning product, excoriation from urine - if it persists see a GP x

you seem sure its not chaffing. it doesn't sound like an STD at all to me. I would advise you to see the dr if it persists. try using sudocreme on it. That works wonders on everything.

Chafing? Have you been running or walking a lot? Especially in hot / sweaty weather...
