There is no way of telling if your girlfriend hs been unfaithful to you or not, it boils down to honesty and trust. She could have had HPV for a really long time, unknowingly. There is NO cure for HPV, but your immune system can fight it off and into a "remission" of sorts. It can lie dormant for years and all of the sudden cause problems, all it takes is a weak spot in the immune system. I run a support group for women who have HPV and we have seen monogomous married people show up with it years later and wonder why! It depends on the person and their immune system. Condoms cannot fully protect you from the virus and all it takes is ONE time to get it. You can't tell by looking at someone if they have it or not either, men can have active "high risk" strains of HPV and never know it because it effects them differently than women.

HPV virus’ that are STDs are spread through vaginal, anal and oral sex
Depending on what type of HPV strain you are infected with, you may or may not experience any HPV symptoms. Those infected with what is known as "low risk" HPV will likely just have one HPV symptom: genital warts. These can develop anywhere from a few weeks to a few months after exposure to the virus. Genital warts look like miniature cauliflower florets, which are usually flesh-colored, soft and moist. They can develop on the vulva, cervix and in or around the vagina. HPV in men who have a strain that causes genital warts may develop the warts on the scrotum or penis. Both sexes may also develop genital warts symptoms in or around the anus and occasionally on the thighs, buttocks or throat. However, it is possible to have an HPV infection without any genital warts symptoms.

Yep! Although HPV is not harmful to men but is very much potentially harmful to women. It can cause cervical cancer in women. It doesn't always but it certainly is the leading cause for cervical cancer. Also, there is no cure only a vaccination which does no good once someone has been infected. So, wrap it up going forward with your new girlfriends! You are now a carrier of the virus like about 1 in 3 americans . Sick, but this virus lives at the back of your neck and can stay dormant in your system for up to a year (if not more) before ANY symptoms appear. Therefore, either one of you could have been the initial carrier. It could be by chance that her symptoms appeared before yours. So HPV is not a direct sign that your girlfriend is cheating on you.

Not necessarily unless she was a virgin when you met her.

Females who have warts don't necessarily know coz they are hidden from view.

She may have picked them up before yourself and only now got a diagnosis.

HPV is really common but is teratogenic- (can cause abnormalities in babies) but fortunately this is very rare.

IShe could be but, she also couldn't be..so before jumping to conclusion, ask her... The symptons take some time to develop, and they depend on the person...just ask her, there' no way you can be sure that she cheated or she didn'0t just ask her...
