do crabs go away for good if you shave your pubic hair all off on the infected area? or do they come back? I was wondering because my friend wanted to know? Also what medical treatments need to be taken?

nope shaving will not kill them....they wount just go away...where are they going to go? they will end up in clothing bed sheets towels etc. everything must be washed in hot water, clothes, sheets, towels, wash clothes. and they sell special body wash/soap stuff that kills them. tell your friend to go to the county health department to get checked out. i'm sure they have a good check list sheet to being sure they are gone.

you friend would have to shave every hair even around the butt .. and wash all the bed covers in hot water...you can buy over the counter shampoo.
