This is incredibly easy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
I baked this in my electric skillet. I like to serve it with mixed veggies.
Gravy Baked Pork Chops
Serves 6
6 (1-1/4 inch thick) Pork Chops
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
3/4 Cup 2% Milk
1/4 Cup Water
1 (10-3/4 oz can) Cream of Mushroom Soup
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350º F.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Sauté the pork chops in the butter for about 5 minutes per side.
In a separate medium bowl, combine the milk, water and soup. Place the pork chops in a 9x13 inch baking dish and pour the soup mixture over the chops.
Bake for 45 minutes. Serve immediately.

Romano Chicken
Rollups of chicken, Swiss and Parmesan cheeses, ham and herbs - breaded and quickly cooked in the microwave.
Original recipe yield: 6 servings
PREP TIME 15 Min
COOK TIME 4 Min
READY IN 20 Min
INGREDIENTS
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - pounded to 1/4 inch thickness
1/4 pound Swiss cheese, sliced
1/4 pound ham, sliced thin
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
DIRECTIONS
Place chicken breasts on a pan. Place Swiss cheese and ham slices on top and roll up, securing with toothpicks if necessary. In a small bowl combine the Parmesan cheese, paprika, garlic salt, tarragon, basil and bread crumbs. Mix together and dip rollups in mixture to coat.
Drizzle with melted butter and cook on High in microwave for 4 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
I would suggest serving with a green salad, some nice crusty bread, and a simple dessert like chocolate chip cookies and frozen yogurt.

I suggest going to the supermarket and buying either a cooked meal or a meal that is made but needs a little preparation, like a crockpot meal where all you need to do is add water. Or, buy a finished meal where all you need to do is warm it up in the oven or on a skillet like a pot roast or fetuccini. Hope this helps!
Also, i wanted to say that to make your table look like you really worked hard on this dinner, i suggest you fold up some napkins nicely. Here is a link to some great folds:
this site is great and the directions are really simple and straight foward! i know that

simple lamb roast, doesn't take a lot of preparation or skill it is all in the timing.
BBQ a couple of steaks, serve with a tossed salad and some roasted potatoes. Cheese and fruit for dessert. Again low skill level required, just presentation. Simple and easy.
Or call a caterer.

quick and easy: bake seasoned turkey wings or pork chops in the oven. Stir 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup with 1/4 c dry wine and 1/2 c half & half. When meat is almost done pour soup mixture over it and let cook another 10 -15 minutes. Serve with hot rice and your choice of vegetable and salad.

Chicken in Wine in NO TIME: Flour chicken, fry in very little EVOO til golden brown; add 1 c. wine and pour 1 package of dry onion soup mix on top, cover and simmer until done - my kids LOVE this recipe and it's very easy to make. Boneless chicken is the quickest.

Build your own tacos: Just put out bowls of cheddar cheese, browned beef, sliced black olives, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, red onions, taco sauce and taco shells. Everyone loves tacos and it would be fun.
