I would say it depends on your taste buds.
I love cucumbers and bread & butter pickles.
The other pickles I can eat them or leave them.
Ones tastebuds change depending on what you've been eating.One eats something different for the first time it does something to them.At least I find this to be true.My younger brother wanted to eat some velvetta cheese and found that he didn't like the taste anymore,of course this was at least 10-15 years later.Tastes change.

Depends on what you like. I like raw cucumbers. Pickled in a variety of ways. Depends on your taste.

My mom loves cucumbers and onions in vinager aka pickled. But i do not like it. I like cucumbers fresh with a bit of ranch dressing. Nothing better!

I like garden fresh cucumbers peeled gently (with some peeling on it stripped)pour white vinegar over them with some sweetner chilled in the frigwith some sliced sweet onion they are deeeeeeelicious !!!
