I think there is nothing wrong you can eat if you want to eat it. You just need to redefine why you want to be a vegetarian because you are not a true vegetarian by eating fish/seafood. If you're asking whether it'd be wrong because of animal rights and that is your reason to be a vegetarian, the best way to make that decision is to read up on the animal abuse for those creatures. I would recommend checking out peta.org. Good luck!

You're not a vegetarian if you eat any forms of seafood.
It'd up to you what you eat, but you can't call yourself a vegetarian if you eat dead animals (fish is classed as an animal).

Technically you are a semi-vegetarian or a pesco vegetarian. Vegetarians get very offended by people claiming they are vegetarian when they are not. I am a vegetarian, but it doesn't bother me at all for people who are semi or pesco to call themselves a vegetarian.
However to avoid getting your head bit off a lot, I'd call yourself a semi-vegetarian. Even with calling yourself a semi vegetarian people will get offended. But just tell them to get over themselves.
But answering the question of "is it wrong"... that's sort of a matter of point of view.
If you want to eat fish eat it. There's nothing wrong with eating meat or fish no matter what anyone tells you. Its a personal choice to not eat meat just like its a personal choice to eat it.
But if your reason for not eating other meats is to save the animals then its wrong because fish are animals too.

Personally I don't think it's right to eat and meat or fish but if you think otherwise then thats your own opinions and so go ahead and eat it but don't call yourself a vegetarian because you're not. If you eat fish does that mean it's right to eat other meat and does that mean you think less of the fish than other animals because you eat them? If that issue is going to be raised would you say that insects and beetles are lesser than fish and meat also and so would you eat food with cochineal in on gelatine?

Is it wrong to eat fish? No.
Is it wrong to eat fish and call yourself a vegetarian?
Yes.

Claptrap like "Being a vegetarian is a decision you made; you can eat whatever you want to. There are no rules..." isn't helpful to anybody. Who on earth wants "do you have any special dietary needs?" to involve a ten-minute answer? Or to order a "vegetarian but magically with fish" meal on an airplane? Ask to hear "vegetarian" specials at a restaurant, and get fish, or get dairy and egg left out? Surely you don't object to dictionaries, or "rules" regarding different religious, political, etc, identifications?
"Pescetarian" is just sitting there waiting to be used. Pescetarian away; it's certainly one of the healthier ways to go about eating.

Is the fish dead? is it the flesh and muscle that you are eating? That is meat! YOU ARE NOT A VEGETARIAN.
Please refrain from using that innacurate label, as it leads others to believe that all vegetarians eat some sort of meat, which is not true.
Fish is a dead animal, not a plant or even a bi-product from a living animal. It is dead!
Vegetarians do not eat dead animals!!!!

right or wrong is up to you. however if you regularly eat fish, perhaps you should no longer call yourself vegetarian but pescatorian, one who eats fish but not other flesh.
is there something you do or think that encourages you to call yourself a veggie? do you not eat meat for specific reason such as animal cruelty or the like?
at the end of the day it's up to you.

There is no right or wrong where diet is concerned. I guess I would ask why you're a vegetarian. If you're doing it for ethical reasons, such as it's cruel to eat animals, well, you can figure that one out. But of all the meats, fish has long been considered the healthiest, with many necessary protiens without the health concerns of red meat.

No, but it's wrong to call yourself a vegetarian if you eat dead animals. Your dietary choice is a valid one and if it works for you, great, but you're not a vegetarian.
