My friends smoke all the time and I try very hard to aviod them , almost all the time I'd walk away from sometimes it's very hard.

Last week I was with a few of my friends and they smoked for the whole day, well one at a time I felytreally bad.

I felt like there is burn in my throat and I coughed a lot.

Worst of all, when I go home in the shower , I coughed out black stuff and there are also black stuff in my nose too...

I'm very annoyed , is there anyway to make my body better?

I know that 2nd hand smoke is more harmful than 1st hand but my friend wont believe me

There has been a mind-control program regarding second-hand smoke instigated by the controllers of the medical industry.
They are struggling to hide the fact that vaccinations are killing people, and they put it down to second hand smoke and sun bathing.
Second hand smoke has far less effect that the pollution from a passing car, and is certainly far less dangerous than vaccination.

Some believe that second hand smoke is bad and others don't, its unlikely that you'll change anyone's mind either way.

Years ago a friend talked much as you do. In a car with some people smoking he coughed and kept his window rolled down. It was interesting that when he drifted of to sleep he stopped coughing and breathed very easily. Most (if not all) of his reactions were in his head.

For myself, I don't smoke and I have no problem around other people who do smoke.

If you are coughing up black stuff, I would go direct to the doctor because it is most likely not caused by the smoke.

Scientists agree it contains the same cocktail of harmful compounds that smokers inhale, more than 55 cancer-causing chemicals including formaldehyde, arsenic and the powerful toxin benzoapyrene.

They also agree that nonsmokers inhale and digest the toxic smoke just as their smoking counterparts do, albeit in smaller quantities. Traces of chemicals found only in tobacco turn up in biological studies of nonsmokers
frequently exposed to cigarette smoke.

Tobacco causes increasingly stiff and narrow arteries that precipitate a heart attack. Its chemicals create long-lasting genetic mutations that blossom into lung cancer.

But how much damage does so-called passive smoking cause? Can involuntary exposure, over time, wreak similar damage on the heart and lungs of someone who has never lit up?

During the past, biologists and courts have wrestled with the question, occasionally arriving at different answers. Fueled by regulators' zeal to hold the tobacco industry accountable for America's epidemic of smoking-related illness, the legal and scientific debate has intensified during the last five years.

And geneticists, epidemiologists and molecular and cellular biologists point to a growing body of research on secondhand smoke.

Large research studies single out environmental tobacco smoke as the culprit for a number of childhood ailments and chronic diseases: asthma, ear infections, eye irritation and low birth weight babies.

The amount of secondhand smoke circulating in the air of restaurants and bars can vary, according to recent medical studies. In some research, investigators found the presence of smoke is no more than levels found in
the home of a smoker.

Simply put, your friend is an idiot if they dont take notice of the constant reports that smoking kills....regardless of whether it is 2nd hand or not.

If they refuse to butt out while you are around them, tell them you will not be around them while they continue to smoke, as you would rather not continue to jeopardise your own health.

well at first, you do stay away from any occassion when there is smoke--- including hanging out with you friends, but i dont mean to stop ur friendship with them.. you just have to be old enough to choose what is better.

ur body needs recovery-- i mean you have to prevent.. prevention is better than cure.

u may research mor about smoking, get some articles, try to show your friends some of the facts you gathered, but once is enough. dont make it to a point when they get annoyed by you.

you should take the consequences of your commitment on to fix ur body. u love your body for sure. its just ur own one body given by GOD, so u cant buy one the next time.

as i see you, you have the potential to get ur goal, just stay focused, explain ur side to your friends, if they are really your true friends, then they'll understand you, and would want whats best for you too.

dont worry about being alone, when they all smoke in one corner find ppl or things that will keep u company. and sometimes its good to get isolated, it helps you meditate on things-- values of life and stuff, u may also take that opportunity to plan your future.. =)

and also, take atleast 1000 mg of vitamin C
500 in the morning, and 500 at night, eat lots of fruits and vegetables high in Vit.A,C,E.

you know, you may help them, by telling them, ok you guys smoke, if thats what u want, but i tell you, that you need more Vitamin C, to keep ur immune system strong, and taking vitamin C also, lessens the appetite for smoke, when taken with fruits and vegetables.

tahts a good idea. and, do u knnow that smoking causes Aging? that means looking horriblr with wrinkles at a younger age.... bad breath, ugly lungs! ---based on what i learned from doctors.

=) if u want to be ugly, go smoke.

u can make it, i believe so because you have the desire to change.

good for u.

Second hand smoke is not necessarily worse for you. Your friends like to smoke so you are stuck with it...if you want to be with them. Think how all the people that don't want to breathe in car exhaust when walking down the road or chimney smoke from open coal fires. it is unlikely that we can find a happy medium in this area. I suggest you stay away from your friend if you feel that strongly about it.

Why don't your friends smoke outside? I would not allow anyone to smoke in my house. I was a pack a day smoker for 45 years.
I had to quit because I have COPD and I am on oxygen 24/7. I wouldn't listen to anyone tell me to quit either, until it was too late.

BUT your friends should have more respect for YOU than to smoke in front of you. I don't know what to tell you. Don't go to the house they smoke in or the car.
My daughter smokes. She doesn't smoke in my house. When I go to visit her she smokes outside too. She doesn't smoke in her own house at all. The smoke gets in your furniture and every where else. It is disgusting.

Go to your doctor and explain to him/her. It sounds like the second hand smoke is making you sick. They have proof now of the damage second hand smoke does to you.

Well, the thing make person back off smoking. Yes it Will be hard to do. But there are some people out there that control smoking and smoking doesn't control. I my self are one these people.I mean I can go months or weeks with out a Doesn't even phase at all. At the and of the period . I Can pick smoking right back up.If they back off. let there lungs clear out. Then smoke right up should be fine. If you want to avoid the Air off the cig hitting other people noses.

Here are a few things on that you can do. Either ask any one who is around you if they don't mind you smoking if one out lets say you ask 8 people says yes then go and move to a place that has less people.

Tow avoid people all to gather. I know this hard to do. But does as much as you can. Go off around from business' doors that are heavily traveled. Put your self untraveled path at fairs. Or lease not many travel the path Re you going to smoke. If you see a kid with parent. THne hold the cig up in the air and behind oyu. People will see taht you are trying to keep the smoke away from their kdis and udnerstnd and repecyou more.

If all this fails try this.Smoke in your car and no were else whe nyou are in public. Then if anyone wants to ride with you you MUST tell them that you smoke in your car. If you go in some one else ask then before you auto light up in there. Keeping in mind if thera kid in there OR(nothers dont EVER smoke around kids udner 10 y/o). If they let you smok and they smoke then it is fine. But if they are a Non Smoking then you have a nother choise. Either Onlysmoke a very very smoke amout in there caar. Or refuse to smoke at all. Most likethe second opoyion. Thatis why i ussaly smoke before i go any were with any one . Ihope this help you.
