Sounds like bronchitis or a deep respiratory infection? Is the phlegm clear? Not sure about the pregnancy effects. Go see your PCP for further instructions.

Yup sounds like a chest an infection and in case you're producing phlegm then thats a solid concern. The muscular soreness is the end results of your chest forcing the phlegm out, a cough is yet another via manufactured from an infection and not a fashion of discharging the phlegm. count huge style your self fortunate which you do not have the different symptons.

It's pretty normal to have residual effects from a cold, I've had phlegm for up to 2 weeks aster the cold.

While there is an over the counter phlegm pill, I do not know if it is safe to take pregnant, and chances are the box only says "see a physician" because it's affects on your baby are probably unknown.

You just need to wait it out. Have you been taking your prenatal vitamins. It's possible your body doesn't have the nutrition to fight off the sickness quickly.

I'm not sure about the medication you can take, but I do know
this as long as your coughing it up, then it okay cause that's
what you want. You don't want to keep that **** in cause then
you can get bronchitis and that can turn into pneumonia. So
keep cough up everything out and it will soon clear up. Speak
to your Dr. for medication that you are able to take. Because
your pregnant and I don't think you can take anything.

I had a pretty bad cold a few weeks ago and that was happening for a week or two after it was gone. It might just be normal but go to your doctor if you're worried.
