its not a big deal to get tested. go to your local county health department if your poor they do it for free. if you were put at risk by some one then you need to get checked. if left untreated in women it can cause pelvic inflammation disease which is painful and leads to infertility. in men it can also lead to infertility among other problems. it can also be transmitted through oral sex.

If they were successfully treated before you had sex, not very high, but still test worthy.
If they were treated afterwards, VERY test worthy!
Always use a condom, and get tested regularly, even if it is once a year.

if not treated the rish is high your risk of getting it again from them would be.100. percent to get it get tested and tell who the carrier is you just might keep another person from spreading it to others. my opion?

Did they have chlamydia when you had sex with them? If they were through with their treatment than no you can not get it. If there is any doubt get checked. You can remain asymptomatic and still have it.
