Yes. White bread has limited nutrional value. You should eat whole grain bread in moderation. Bread is fattening and a high carb diet can lead to diabetes as well as other problems. Diabetes can result in kidney failure, amputations, and early death.

Well eating to much isn't to say "Unhealthy" It's just not as healthy as your whole wheat choices. White breads are made from simple carbohydrates. Which your body converts to sugar and spikes your insulin levels. If you love your bread try to switch to whole grain breads. There are so many great ones out there. it may take you a while to get used to them but once you do you'll never go back to white breads.

white bread is high in carbohydrates.....if you're young...no worries. however, make the switch to 7 grain bread (nothing more than that or it may send you into shock from coming straight from white bread). I started off with wheat, then 7 grain then it gets really grainier after that but 7 grain will give you great fiber with great taste and you won't have to worry about white bread and its high carbs and sugars which turn you into fat! :)

Yes, definetly. white bread is not good for health ,instead substitute for whole brown bread and whole wheat grain products rich in fibre and nutritious to health . also try Oatmeals which is fully fibre and has added nutrient value and stays quiet some time so that your sugar levels doesn't drop down . also try using Ragi which again is good for health.

Any processed food has much of the nutrition removed. It would be more healthful to eat whole grain.
That said-it won't really hurt you but does have a lot of calories for the amount of nutrients it provides.

well, i think eatting too much of anything is unhealthy, even veggies.
But we're not saying not to eat bread at all
You just gotta even everything out, eat your fruits, veggies, meats and carbs!

white bread is made from bleached flour, and does not have whole grains or much real nutritional value--it is empty calories--you want whole grains like whole wheat, rye bread, pumperknickel, a dark hearty rye bread, or other whole grain breads with seeds or bran or some whole grains and fiber....white bread is sweet and tasty but empty on nutrition and whole grains and fiber, the things that make bread healthy and nutritious !!! i love rye bread with caraway seeds, often referred to as Jewish rye, or pumperknickel, also known as blackbread or dark rye or schwartzbreid....try the others, and you may very well never go back to white bread, which is tasteless and empty of nutrition !!!
