I'm personally not a big fan of either vegetable, though I don't mind lettuce in a good salad. Carrots, either soft-cooked or hard, aren't particularly appetising to me, it takes me a long time to actually eat them.

I prefer carrots over lettuce because carrots keep longer. Carrots are better than lettuce for me because they are easy to pack in my lunch. Who ever heard of packing a baggy of lettuce? Carrots are better than lettuce because they are rich in monatomic elements - Don't know about monatomic elements? Watch this video at google.
