It could be a conbination of things. Yes it could of come from the tight panties your vagina needs air. possible it could be a yeadt infection. You should always wear cotton panties and use white toilet paper after using the bathroom. Its also possible a std. Iwould go to the health department just to be sure all stds aren't curable but treatable.

It's definitely possible it could be a yeast infection. Yeast infections are caused by too much "bad" bacteria in the vagina. The number of "bad" bacteria and "good" bacteria are suppose to be balanced in the vagina. Yeast infection can be cured with antibiotics. You'll need to visit a doctor and have them take a look at you and write you a prescription.

It's also possible it could be an STD. Again, you'll want to visit a doctor and have them look at you. If it is a bacterial STD like syphilis, gonorrhea, or chlamydia it can be cured with antibiotics. If it is a viral STD like herpes, HPV, hepatitis, or HIV/AIDS it is NOT curable. Viral STDs have no cures.

honey, what you should do is go directly to your gynecologist; don't try to treat yourself like if you know what is going on with your genitals. I know that it may be uncormftable, but it is the only way to be sure what you have and how to treat it. It could be a lot of things: yeast infection, bacterial infection, parasitic infection, an STD, or as simple as an allergic reaction. Each of those conditions have specific signs and symptoms and they can be differentiated from each other by presence or absence of discharge, color and odor of it, pruritus (itching sensation), swelling of the area, color of any lesion, presence of vesicles, etc... and if you start treating it without knowing what caused it, you may make it worse by irritating the area even more, or helping the involved organism to have resistance to the medication. By the other hand, with your description, we can suspect of a yeast infection, but we are gessing, so until you don't know if it is not an STD, you should take care of yourself and your couple. Even if it is not an STD, it could be very painful for you because of the irritation.
My advice is to go to your doctor and meanwhile, don't have any sexual contact, try to keep the area as clean and dry as you can, and avoid wearing tight clothes, which triggers sweating and increases the risk of yeast infection. Also, avoid using towels from other people as well as undergarments( i don't know who can do that, but just in case, i'm telling you).

Sounds like our own curse as women ....the ol' yeast infection! Damn things pop up out of nowhere sometimes. Active sex life, stress, antibiotics, tight not cotton panties are just a few of the things that make that itchy bastard raise its ugly head. However to be safe you gotta see your doctor or the nurse practitioner to rule out an STD or anything else that may be dangerous to you. The longer you wait the more serious it could become. Dontcha' just love our Catch 22? If it turns out you need to take a course of anibiotics, then you'll REALLY get a yeastie!

First of all, I want to point out that a yeast infection is NOT an STD. It is a bacterial infection. You may or may not have symptoms with an STD, sometimes similar to that of a yeast infection.

It sounds like you have a yeast infection but the best thing to do to be sure is to go to your doctor or gynocologist to be sure. if it is a yeast infection they can perscribe a pill that helps get rid of it. or you could try the monistat capsule. it's still messy but not as messy as the creams. if you are sexually active, you should get tested for std's to be safe. some std's are curable and some are not. i would recommend going to Yahoo Health, they have a lot of information on common std's. good luck to you.

its hard to say. you could be itching and irritated because you washed your clothes with to much laundry detergent, or the soap you are using, or your panties could have been to tight and rubbing your skin. as for a yeast infection, and this may sound gross, but do you have discharge that is chunky, looks like cottage cheese, and does it have a strong odor? i dont know what to tell you about an std, that would be something you would need to talk to your doctor about. keep an eye on how much detergent is being used on your clothes, maybe use less and keep an eye on whats going on down there.

It could be an STD, but its probably a yeast infection (which is sometimes sexually transmitted, by the way.) Go to CVS, buy a monistat treatment, and see if it clears up within a week. If it doesn't, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars, go directly to your doctor.

next time you shave there be particular to shave contained in the route that the hair grows and by no skill hostile to it. this may decrease down notably on the redness and inflammation. also use a shaving cream with some lotion in it or a shaving cream for tender pores and skin, this will also help out plenty. If that's your first time then that's truly one among the important reason the themes got here about with the aid of the undeniable fact that's an section that hasn't lengthy gone through it till now. placed unscented lotion on it for now and that's going to help the itchiness and inflammation bypass away.
