I wish to grow bean sprouts and in my area I can find moong beans and search engines haven't give me an answer.

They are the same thing. They are spelled differently because they are transliterated (sounded out and spelled phonetically) from a different scripts, like Hindi, Thai, Mandarin...so there is no "correct" English spelling. Just sound it out.

yes, mung beans are the same as moong beans, so you'll be able to sprout them easy.

You can make beansprouts from lots of other beans too... and you can sprout peas too, they're really nice.

They are the same beans and they are not animals. Look for it at your local grocery's Asian food sections/aisle (or wherever they have beans and stuff) or at an Asian store.

This is Lentil not animal and same. can also written both ways as this is a local language word
