Do they smell bad?
Do you have reason to believe they could be bad?
Did you leave them out of the fridge overnight?
Play it safe, toss them out.

If it smells that bad they probably are. Try a tiny piece as a taste test. But throw them out if in doubt.

When in doubt, throw it out. It is easier to run to the store and get more sausage than it is to have to spend several days in ICU because of spoiled food.

any meat that doesn't smell right, get rid of...don't chance it. If you're not sure get someone else to smell it to.
