he is not able to use his right side at all and he is right handed. there are 3 steps to get into his home but it is a little steep.

you can talk to the physical therapist at the facility he is staying at, they can make some recommendations

There are agencies out there to help you. You might try Medicare if he is elderly, check with Human Resources in your area there is probably a lot of information available, and someone to guide you in the best direction for you to go. Some factors to consider are his income, will he require assisted living, is the ramp to be for wheel chair access (the measurements are larger) and the list goes on. His doctors office may make some helpful suggestions. I know you will have some researching to do but it will all come together for you. Hang in there.
