The Most Reverend Desmond Mpilo Tutu (born 7 October 1931) is a South African cleric and activist who rose to worldwide fame during the 1980s as an opponent of apartheid. Tutu was elected and ordained the first black South African Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, South Africa, and primate of the Church of the Province of Southern Africa, South Africa's church body comprising the worldwide Anglican Communion. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984.
He was generally credited with coining the term Rainbow Nation as a metaphor to describe post-apartheid South Africa after 1994 under ANC rule. The expression has since entered mainstream consciousness to describe South Africa's ethnic diversity.

He is a patient of Prostrate cancer. He was diagnosed in the stage IIB and given the treatments. He had survived the disease but again the disease cropped up and treated. He is alright now.
In south Africa AIDs disease is more and for this reason we should not conclude he also suffered with AIDs since he is in South Aftrica

Given the speed of the world's media, I think we would all know if it had been reported that Archbishop Desmond Tuta has
Acquired Immuno Defeiciency Syndrome. I have heard no such report but whilst I would imagine it is incorrect, AIDS is widespread in Africa and the scandal is not that such and such may have it, but more that the rich West ignores the plight of those who suffer with it.

No, it is not true.
In 1997 he had prostate cancer. It was in remission for a bit, and it has come bak, but so far, it´s not aggressive.

OMG!!! I haven't heard of anything myself. But i wouldn't doubt it. I'm not saying that i think he is promiscuous or anything, but South Africa and Africa in general has the highest rate of HIV in the world. God Bless him and all in Africa.
