i'm 13 and my parents didn't do anything for my birthday so they said I could have another party. I was going to have a graduation party but, i found out other kids in my class are having a graduation party.....and no one is having a christmas party.....but my friend is having her b-day party in the end of Feb. I already know we are renting a room and having a DJ.
Also....decoration ideas? what should I tell people to wear ( i know they will ask me)

you should have a christmas wonderland theme - especially since the whole red and green theme is so overused. So go for whites and blues for your decorations, foam snowmen paper snowflakes, icicles etc etc. and tell people that its not a red and green party so they can avoid it =)

This is a fun one. Go ahead and do the christmas party but kind of make it a New Years party too. You could do it as a costume partyor make it a color restriction like green and red. With this then its up to your guest to decide what to wear. I mean there is so many different things they could do or wear. I say have a little bit of christmas decorations and a little bit of New year decorations. This way its the best of the holiday season rolled into one.

Sounds like fun. Just let the people dress in red or green. Have a fake tree, lights and bows for decorations. Candles floating in bowls for tables and lots of greenery. The place will look festive and smell good too. Better get started, those rooms will be gone soon.

Christmas is great but maybe twist it a little by choosing a certain kind of Christmas like Victorian, Hawaiian, Scrooge (Dickens.....lot's of characters to choose from), Hippie, Nightmare Before Christmas (I like that one!), if you choose a theme then your decorations will fall in line. Make sure all of your guests know that it is important to dress & act the theme...so fun! Have a great one!!!!

everyone is so busy at christmas time. they have their own family parties to go to. why don't you have a valentine's party. decorate the room with red balloons and hearts. tell everyone they can wear what they want - but it MUST have some red. whatever YOU decide have a great time and belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Decoarate with lots of silver. The theme can be what you would be like at age 25. Tell them to dress how they think they will look at age 25.

we had a christmas party in college, maybe try a christmas sweater theme, It was a lot of fun for us because the whole night we were making fun of the ugliest sweaters... the kind that you would get from your grandmother.
