Hi. I was thinking about a Vouge (fashion) themed party to raise money for an organization.
Velvet rope, runway, fashion show, ect.
Any other ideas would be helpful. Thank You.

I'm not sure what all you're looking for (food ideas, decorating, etc.) but I'm thinking- lots of magazines lying around. Maybe blow up a few covers or high fashion photo spreads at Kinkos to hang on the walls. Have some big photograpy lamps around the room for extra lighting. The velvet rope is a good idea. Maybe a red carpet leading into the venue. Preferably loud techno music like they play on the runway. Maybe stacks of shoeboxes. Rolling racks with clothes on them if you really want to go big. Maybe raffle off some gift certificates for a spa, makeup, shopping, etc. Lots of hors d'ouvres. Champagne or sparkling cider for sure.
Oh, and I was going to say maybe try and have an actual fashion show of some sort. Even if it's something small. Maybe get a bunch of volunteers to be continuously walking down a little runway. That'd be awesome.
Hopefully some of those ideas help. It sounds like a really fun theme!

a little gift room like the celebrities, but they can actually be party favors. also a live fashion show and maybe a louge area to mingle

centerpieces made of makeup and beauty products, you friends can lend them to you.
and maybe a beauty salon center, where someone can go through a major change like a makeover.
