i am 22 yrs old and have been under alot of stress lately,..i was just sitting here watching tv eatin lunch and i felt this real sharp pain in my heart/chest area like someone just shocked my heart...it hurt and scared me because i nver felt something like this b4...my husband is on staff duty with the phone and i have no way of gettin to a hospital...someone out there tell me what they think is going on...im freaking out here...

Probably indigestion or esophageal spasm. A heart attack is way, way down the list of probabilities in a 22 year old. Pain from angina or a heart attack tends to be a crushing, squeezing type pain from under your sternum.

Gastric influx i guess. You are too young to have a heart attack unless you have a history of heart problem. Just go for a routine check to your GP.

maybe a sever panic attack. don't take it lightly...find a way to get to the hospital or try to get intouch with an advise nurse to see what you should do befor you go to the hospital. Either way, get looked at.

I wouldn't freak out about it ... It's not a heart attack or you wouldn't been able to type.

It may be a gas pain or indigestion I get those all the time when i eat.

youll b fine your either having acid reflex or gas pains if it persists go to a neighbors and call 911

if it keeps hurting you are in trouble, if it quit go to the doctor monday.
