I decided to cooked garbonzo & white beans because they are chemical free unlike in the cans you can purchase in the grocery store. I ended up cooking more than expected, I was wondering if you can freeze them, and how long?

yes u can, the best way is to put them in ziplock bags.
You can keep them frozen for about 6 months without them losing their nutritious value.

I freeze them all the time. I use double zip lock bags (dont use the cheap brand), and I have never left them for more then 2 months. You can basically do this with any kind of beans. even gandules.

I always do. In zip lock baggies.

You can then add them to whatever you are cooking!

They come in handy.
