My friend from school is a foxhunter and she has really high blood pressure. She dines on bought meat, roadkill and seafood!!!!! I am really worried about her because she has really red skin and looks 10/20 years older!!! She is really exhausted and her husband has hinted that there isn't a great deal of action under the bedlinnen!!!!!

I am really concerned as she is a good mate. How do I convince her to eat a vegetarian/vegan diet????????

Great question, i think we see this sort of situation all the time.

I wonder if this is why foxhunter guy has gone off with Cowboy Bill ? Probably

If she is a good mate, just enjoy the time you have together. You know she is liekly to die before you.

It'll take years to get the toxins out of her, maybe its too late. If she is a normal person, she will be open minded enough to try Vegan food, and then she'll realise who good it tastes, and how great it is for her. Its unlikely she'll be ill ever again !

According to FHG you're not supposed to force your views on anyone, i guess we can add hypocrite to the emerging description of several people in here - not looking good for them is it ?

I too am a little confused by the juxtaposition of foxhunting and meat eating in your question. I do not hunt foxes but I do eat meat, my wife, on the other hand does hunt but is a vegetarian. Stereotypes are confusing and misleading which leads us on to the assumption that an omnivore should be persuaded to give up meat eating, isn't that a little like feeding meat extracts to herbivores?

The moral and physiological arguments for all of these things, foxhunting, meat eating, milk drinking, breeding animals for pets or to use for experimentation, vegetarianism and becoming vegan are too complex to force into a dichotomous belief system, unfortunately people like yourself, wonderful caring person that I'm sure you are, once they convince themselves of a position become blind to possibility of alternative ideas or even facts.

Well done :)

EVERYONE ELSE - This is about foxhunter_guy its not serious.

THIS GUY (foxhunter_guy) IS A NUTCASE!

Look at his name FoxHunterGuy. He has nothing to do with vegetarians all he is doing is trying to wind us up. He's a nutcase and doesn't deserve any of our time. Please start reporting abuse or doing something to get him off this site.

DO NOT REPLY to any of his answers, this just gives him credibility and makes him happy that he's getting some response to his malitious actions.

These are his previous questions. If you look at the full paragraph with each question you will see that every single one of them is just a dumb question.

One more thing. He has asked 28 questions and given many answers, guess where, only in the vegetarian and vegan group. How supprising ;-)

you are what's wrong with the vegetarian world. It's not up to you to make people become a vegetarian. You don't need to become a vegetarian to be healthy. If you're that concerned for this person's health try and convince her to simply eat healthier foods and get regular exercise. Switching from a meat diet directly to a vegetarian diet can be just a unhealthy.

Good try, andielep! Foxhunter obviously didn't like the comparison seeing as he reported you. Doesn't like getting dosed with his own medicine, does he?!

Keep at it, gal - vegetarians of the world unite!!

If she kills foxes then slaughtering houses probably won't bother her. Or the barns they raise hogs in. But take her or they have movies on disc now of open heart surgury. As they scrap the fat out of artaries while holding your heart in their hand.

Crap! Don't you think she has enough misery in her life without becoming a idiot vegan?? If she eats roadkill I'd say it's time for a trip to a psychiatric clinic.
