You would know it if you had a heart attack. But a warning sign of heart problems is angina. This is chest pain from your heart not getting enough oxygen. See a doctor. This site has way to cure angina without getting surgery.

It is the other way around.
In practice of the Chinese are of acupuncture and acupressure, one of the heart points along the heart meridian, is located just below the left breast nipple, about 2 ",s below.
If you take your index finger and press in this area, and if you are having problems with your heart, this point will hurt when pressed. Like pressing on a boil. You need to apply pressure for 7 seconds, while breathing out, then inhale to count of 7 and repeat. When soreness in this spot is gone, you have successfully removed a blockage in the energy flow to the heart and the healing process has begun.
Until you fully understand acupressure, I suggest if you think you have a heart condition, see a physician immediately and they will do tests and perhaps catch a problem before it has become critical.

The key to surviving a heart attack is promptly recognizing the warning signals and getting immediate medical attention. If you feel an uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of your chest (that may spread to your shoulders, neck or arms) and your discomfort lasts for two minutes or longer, you could be having a heart attack. Sweating, dizziness, fainting, nausea, a feeling of severe indigestion, or shortness of breath may also occur, although not all symptoms do necessarily occur.
When a person has these symptoms, it is natural for him or her to deny what is happening. No one wants to think that he might be having a heart attack. It is important to know that over 300,000 heart attack victims died before reaching the hospital last year, many of them because they refused to take their symptoms seriously.

Do you mean sore tto the touch, or with movement and inspiration? This would be more likely a case of costocondritis. (sore chest wall muscles)

Usually not sore when having a heart attack you usually have a pressure or "tightness" in your chest.soreness sounds more muscular to me . rhythm changes usually occur due to lack of perfusion of the myocardiam. ie:slow heart rate due to blockage in the right coronary artery. you may have increase rate secondary to pain .

Uh, . . . no. Everything feels just like there was no huge life-threatening event happening in your chest cavity. In fact, heart attack victims often enjoy boxing right after surgery.
