50/50, sorry. They don't need to have an outbreak to pass along the virus. Also, medication doesn't prevent passing along the virus, it just keeps it lower in the system of the person with the Herpes virus. The virus is still active in their system and always will be.

The likelihood of it being passed on is 100%. Even though they're on medication and there was no outbreak, the herpes virus is still there. You should contact an STD clinic for information and advice. If you ask anyone else you could get wrong information. The sooner you do this, the better you'll feel.

You're fine, stop worrying about it. And let me straighten something out here. You DON'T DIE FROM HERPES for crying out loud. Do you need to be careful when having sex with someone who has this disease? YES, but I'm reading a lot of B.S. in some of these answers from people who don't even have this disease.

Very good, just because there are no visible outbreak signs does not mean that you can not contract the disease. Consult a doctor right away to find out exactly what you should do!! I hope that you used protection!

The likelihood is relatively high. It does not matter if the person is taking medication you can still catch it if having unprotected sex. It is the same as having sex with a person that has AIDS and is taking medication. Medication is only used to suppress symptoms not the disease itself.

Did you wear a condom ? From what I know it can only be passed during an outbreak . In less there was oral involved. Wait A minute where does this person have it there's different places you can have it.

You could catch it because of fluid transfer during sex, no matter if they are on medication or not... check with a doctor to be sure and safe.

Just b/c they have no outbreak doesnt mean they arent "shedding" the virus. Its good they are on meds but you must be very very careful lest you fall victim to the disease yourself. There are plenty of websites on the subject.

Very likely. You can contract herpes even when there are no symptoms. What are you doing having unprotected sex anyway??!!!
