It's hard to answer without more info, but just try any kind of hand lotion daily. If that doesn't help, take a look at your diet. Are you eating enough fat? Drinking enough liquid?
I've never heard of dry, cracking skin from an STD.
Hope that helps.

If you tested negative it is doubtful that it is related to an STD. The only thing I can think of that does anything like that is syphillis, and you really don't want that. If you wash your hands a lot, if you are a nurse or a CNA or something like that, or you work in the cold without gloves, you skin loses a lot of moisture. It can then crack and bleed, which makes the irritation worse, leading to more moisture loss and thickening of the skin. Try to keep some water soluable moisturizer on your hands or use a non irritating soap.

It is usually do to poor circulation and happens when the weather is cold. It is sometimes called "Houswife Exzema" because of doing dishes and having your hands in water. A Dermatologist could look at it and give you the right creams and lotions because sometimes over the counter lotions do not help and could actually make the situation worse.

i have the same problem, especially in the cold weather, i do wash my hands alot also, but heres what i do...
get a thin pair of latex cloves, cover your hands in vaseline before you go to bed, put the cloves on, the next day your hands will feel soooo much better, of course, a good lotion everyday while they are healing wll help alot.
It works! But do that every night for about a week or until they are better, you';ll be glad you did.

It sounds like you may actually have an allergy (maybe you are intolerant to some foods in your diet) that is causing toxicity in your body that is manifesting as this skin condition ( a form of eczema). Today is the National Day of Healing, so I am going to pray for God's healing to bring wholeness to your body, to balance the delicate pH levels in your body, to eliminate the toxins causing this imbalance, and for the same Resurrection power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead to create new skin cells in your hands.
