The doctor will not check for HIV, or AIDS or STD, unless the
patient requests for it. He will just do the normal routine blood
check for other diseases, like cholesterol, diabetes, kidney or
liver infections etc.

No, put simply, there area approx. 544 different tests that can be made on a persons body fluids, believe that or not. That was at last count about three years ago. What would be the point.
Unless a doctor has an idea that somethings amiss he's not going to ask the lab to test you for more than what he thinks is wrong. He already has an idea and is just making sure also this is his way of finding out what type of antibiotic to use or whatever he needs to cure you.

No they do not check for STD's or Aids without your prior permission. They may notice that your white cells are low from an infection or some other medical problem and suggest that you take other tests tho. But what is on the haematology request form is what will be tested.

These tests must be requested by the patient. Before testing for HIV, they must have a signed request by you, and explain all the details to you. If they don't its called malpractice.

no a doctor needs consent from a patient to do these tests
if you are concerned you can request them
or if a doctor suspects you my have any of the above he can suggest
testing but you have to consent to them
these tests results are strictly confidential

Legally they are supposed to have your permission to check for any test. I don't think a physician would chance his license on ordering a test that you didn't know about prior.
