I am wondering if antibiotic/Bioxin made me sick serious stomach pain and a feeling of needing to vomit. is this common?

yes it did and yes it is. don't stop taking itbut eat alot. i mean alot. while you are taking it. and don't drink booze. seriously.

Many antibiotics can upset the stomach. Try taking it with food. It may even cause a yeast infection, and diarrhea.
eat yogurt when taking an antibiotic will help also.

Most Antibiotic induce this sick feeling!
The drug destroys the Bacteria that causes the infections and also the fine chemical balance in the Gut and intestinal tract!.

Biaxin (clarithromycin) can cause nausea and vomiting as well as abdominal pain. Clarithromycin is part a family of anti-infectives called macrolides. They are well known for causing abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. You can try taking it with food -- this will not alter the effectiveness. If you are still bothered by it, report this to your prescriber who may switch you to another antibiotic that will work as effectively.

yes- some antibiotics are not well tolerated. this is different from an allergic reaction though. make sure that you took the medication on a full stomach. if you did, call the doctor and he may switch you to a different one

you are supposed to take it with food. If not you will get sick almost every time
