I have already tried: Astelin and Mucinex and they didn't work at all. I don't have any other allergy symptoms.

Actifed works great as long as you don't have high blood pressure.
You can buy Actifed over the counter.
A good nasal spray will work.
Blowing your nose periodically helps.
Just waiting it out can help if it is not a sinus infection. Any discharge other than a clear one can be the first signs of an infection.

It really depends on the underlying cause of your post-nasal drip (PND). If your PND is due to environmental allergens such as dust, cat dander, etc., medications such as over-the-counter antihistamines and the avoidance of the allergen should prove most effective. If, however, your PND has an infective origin caused by a virus or bacteria, these agents will prove minimally effective. In the case of a bacterial origin, an antibiotic would be necessary to help clear up the PND. I would see a doctor if the symptoms persist for more than a couple weeks, or is accompanied by flu-like symptoms or fever.

I have the same problem. I use Benadryl daily and it seems to help.
