A heart rate of 60-65 is normal. I'd be more concerned about the lady who said her HR is 40bpm. That's abnormal. Your lack of energy and shortness of breath with exertion may be caused by something other than your heart. I don't know if you have other health issues, what your weight is, your lifestyle, or anything else relevant about you. The stress test should tell more. In the meantime, please try not worry.

My heart rate is only 40, so I don't consider 60-65 to be slow. It is actually pretty normal for a person of average activity level. If you are concerned and are experiencing other symptoms, go to the emergency room and have them test your heart and blood flow. You have to trust your own instincts.

You are headed in the right direction with the stress test, relax and see what comes of it. However if everything is normal and you still are feeling normal expect your doctor to come up with other suggestions, maybe your thyroid needs tested if underactive that might explain some of how you are feeling. But trust your doctor, if you don't feel your doc is doing the best he/she can for you then find anotherl

a few questions you need to ask b/c a pulse rate or 60 is normal.
How old are you?
Do you get regular excerise? You should.
Have you ever been tested for asthma?
You should get a breathing power test to see the strength of your lungs.
What's your BMI? (Body Mass Index) (are you over weight)
Do you smoke?
Did you recently move to a higher elevation?

There could be. Women are routinely misdiagnosed for heart disease or silent heart attacks.
You can go to the emergency room, tell them your symptoms and demand a work up. Any silent heart attack in the last 24 hours will show as will heart damage in the EKG.
Don't take "no" for an answer!
