Yes of course. You can be a carrier and never have an outbreak and still pass it to others. I believe it can take Aids up to three years to even surface in a test result.

There is always a possibility. You can get an STD by oral sex just as much as by physically performing the act. I have seen people have Herpes outbreaks besides the cold sores in their mouths. It isn't pretty. If you haven't seen any sores, he may be safe or me may not be... You should see your doctor to ask him questions you may have. He will be able to answer the more personal ones. Some STD's can lie dormant for a while and he can carry them and give them to you also. There are viruses out there like that. The HPV virus. You can have that and not even know it. It is sexually transmitted. Genital warts are very contagious. You can get them during oral, vaginal, or anal sex with an infected partner. You can also get them by skin-to-skin contact during vaginal, anal, or (rarely) oral sex with someone who is infected. Yes, it is very possible. Especially if it's a virus and not an infection. Infections are usually very noticable, but viruses may hide for years before the first outbreak! He should be checked!!!

YES. The herpes virus is infamous for having a dormant state. Both type 1 (above waistline) and type 2 (below waistline) herpes can be received through oral sex. They normally hide in the cranial nerves when they're not doing damage, but they're still there.
It's also impossible to get rid of them.

Yes its possible. Things like gonorrhea can infect the throat, and it takes a double dose of strong antibiotics.

Yes. They can stay in your system for many many years and sometimes with no visible symtoms. You should both be checked!
