I was not at many vegan restaurants but I will select the one that I went to a couple of times

I do not know if they use YEAAT or BACTERIA in their foods.... I was not as careful to ask when I was out checking around.....

Back in the 70-80's there used to be a restaurant in Toronto Canada on Yonge St called "The Vegetarian".
it had some the best vegan dishes in the city, some a bit ahead of there time, even back then they had microbotic and raw dishes on the menu, they made a killer veg lasagna, with no pasta just vegetables, pitas which were a bit of a new thing to non-middle eastern people back then, and great smoothies with tofu and fruits, I was a chef and always like to try new things, and they could have swayed me if I had the will poer back then, they ares till open but a few blocks north of the original location

The V-spot cafe!!!! OMG it's SOOOO good. It's in Brooklyn, NY. It's 100% vegan. They have a lot of mock-meats that tatse just like the real thing. I got a chicken parmigiana hero. My friend who went with me got a honey mustard chicken breast sandwich. Both were amazing. I also saw boneless buffalo wings with blue cheese on the menu. I have to get that next time. I don't know how they do it!
Here's their website: http://www.thevspotcafe.com/
