I am allergic to cold environments so I would get a lot of phlegm in my throat during winter time. Does horseradish help to try up excess phlegm and mucous in your sinus and lungs? I heard that it's good and I tried but I seem to feel more thick phlegm draining down my throat. What else would help me?

Drink tons of juice and water. Get a sinus cleanser at the pharmacy. You use it daily and it clears out your sinuses basically for the day. Otherwise take sudafed it dries you up pretty quick.

Go to the drugstore - get an "antihistamine". Post nasal drip is very common in the winter months for millions of Americans. There are some "home remedies", but none are very effective. You most certainly want to stop this annoying problem, and as far as I know - home remedies DON'T work for this problem. Check ALL first before buying anything. Make sure it is non-addictive - READ ALL THE DIRECTIONS... the only other way I feel you could resolve this problem, is to move to a dryer state - with warmer weather - but then, you have pollution!Good Luck! - buy a lot of Kleenex!LOL
