Yes. A sinus infection usually occurs when the sinuses have problems draining. They become blocked and bateria build up that cause the infection.

I tend to get a sinus infection following a cold, but not always. Try to use decongestants, over antihistimines. The decongestants work a little differently. The effect of the antihistimines can contribute to the cause of a sinus infection.

Ask a pharmacist to suggest a decongestant for you that does not also contain an antihistimine.

the best why to handle sinus infection. Clean up the bathroom basin get some salt. Fill up the basin with luke warm water dissolve 2 tea spoons of salt in this water. Put as much of your head into this to draw the liquid up your nose. Believe it or not this does work.

I always get both a cold and sinus infection and usually have to go through a run of medication and have to take cough syrup. if you get a sore throat with this then gargle with warm salt water.
