It is an amazing feeling! you can actually feel the tangible presence of God. The effects may vary from person to person, some may break into fits of laughter or burst into tears of pure joy. Where others may collapse and stay in a near comatose condition for a few minutes of hours, and when they awake they awake with renewed vigour and totally refreshed....

Being filled with the Holy Spirit gives you joy and peace beyond understanding, even in trying times. The Holy Spirit is also the One who comforts and gives you understanding of the Bible.

There are several references to that. A few days before christ died, he said " I will send you another comforter." This person (God) of spirit was foreordained before the creation of the earth to enter our hearts, when we sought after the truth and bear witness of the saviour and other truths in our life. As I hear people talks and read and ponder, the holy spirit bears witness to me in a soft gentle way. It kinda feels warm inside. It almost and does makes little shiivvers go through out the upper torso. It can make people talk in tongues. This happened to me only once. Inside a temple, I spoke to and understood someone speaking in spanish, and me answering in Spanish. I knew a little spanish, but understood every word he said. I answered in spanish. That glow was in my bosom when this happened. It is really difficult to explain.
The large reason why I am a christain is because I know that Jesus Christ lives through that same spirit. I know that there is a life after death because that same spirit has testified that through the burning sensation. I know when I hear the truth because of it. It is one of my most valued posessions. It gives me hope. It makes life easier for me. Others cry and mourn at the death of family or friends. I know things are right with them. It was especially helpful at the death of my mother at age 15.

it's great...it's wow.
First thing is the hunger, you have to really have a hunger for God...
What happened to me was strange, I was talking to God, really desperate for Him, when I felt something coming over me like water, then I felt something burn deep inside me. I didn't know what it was so I walked to the bathroom to be alone...i had no idea what was happening to me. It was so powerful I felt like my body was going to be ripped open, but it wasn't painful at all...just really power full, It was great! and it went on for really long.
I didn't know you could be filled with the holy spirit at that time in my life, only a few months later...when I talked to other Christians, I finally realized what it was. It meant so much to me...pray for it, really ...the best part is the calm you feel afterwords, like your OK...it'd wonderful

You can feel God's power. You have his peace. Once you have the Holy Spirit, there is no doubt that God is real and that He loves you. May God Bless. I will be praying for you.

i can tell you what it's like to BE the holy spirit. it's great, i get discounts at most stores, i'm a carpenter so i built my own house, i'm never hungry because i can feed 5000 with a loaf of wonder bread, and if i get cut-off in traffic i can smite the rude driver with blindness. overall, i'd say its great being the son of god.

When you are filled with the holy spirit you can't move your body, trance like, unmovable.

After being saved and a born again Christian I can only say it is wonderful and you will know it when it happens. Everyone experiences it differently, but I have just felt spritually happy! When you read certain scriptures it will bring tears to your eyes, and you will feel so much emotion. You will feel right from wrong and feel extreme guilt if you feel you have wronged someone. It goes on and on, but it is a beautiful experience.

I am not sure if this is the one.
Once in a while you get this feeling where you are so grateful or so much powered by love and peace but knowing words are not enough to describe or talk to God about it. It's like the feeling is overwhelmingly sufficient to mediate between you and God.
