"Follow your bliss." I don't remember who said it, but it's true. Do what you love to do. I've tried a lot of different jobs, but I was never really happy until I got a job I love to do.
In school, I had a lot of part-time and summer jobs to make money: mowing lawns, walking other people's dogs, washing dishes at a diner, driving a taxi, working in a boutique... Nothing to brag about, but it paid for books and dates and stuff. A career is different, though. I cannot say it loud or long enough: do what you love to do. Sure it's hard, but you can find a way if you want it bad enough. Otherwise you're just marking time and living from check to check. Not very satisfying.
Want some help? Check out John Bear's "What color is your parachute?" from 10-Speed Press. It's a great book ... and a lot of work to do all the assignments. Good luck!

I am a teacher....I teach in a special school and I love every moment of my job because I feel like I am leading a purpose-driven life and every day yields positive results in non monetary terms. Just watching my autistic children laugh and learn makes my day.

I used to work in the corporate world but I was never contented, in fact I was bitter and nasty. But ever since I took up this teaching position, I somehow know that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

I am working as a facility officer in a private sector. Basically I am not trained in this field but I need to carry out facility maintenance as nowadays people always talk about multitasking. Every employers are also practicing the same thing across the industry.
