Before 9/11 all I knew about Muslims you could sum up in Lawrence of Arabia, or 1001 Arabian Nights, or, if you wanted to be a bit silly, Ahab the Arab. I guess I thought of them as being mysterious and dark, and romantic.... Since the terrorist terror...well, I'm not so sure, any more. When I think of Muslims today, I hug my grandkids close to me, and look around for some idiot in a turban with a bomb. I don't want to feel this way about people I don't know. But, the more I learn about Islam, the less I trust people who worship in this religion. I admit it...I am afraid.......

Extremists flew planes into the Twin Towers. Yes, there are teachings within Islam that can be used to support such actions, and a non-trivial amount of the Islamic community, worldwide, that supported such actions.
Extremists slaughtered Muslims in Bosnia. Yes, there are teachings within Christianity that can be used to support such actions, and a non-trivial amount of the Christian community, worldwide, that supported such actions.
In premise (though not in scope), these two examples echo each other. The people who caused them had their reasons, brought about by fear, hatred, and a fervent belief that they were taking correct actions. Yet, despite the back-and-forth history of violence, people still accuse the "other side" while proclaiming innocence. Blood is on everyone's hands, and will continue to do so until we put a stop to things.

9/11 was an inside Job that was planned out by your president and planted on the Middle Eastern people. Bush paid the "Bin Laden" look alike to admit to the 9/11 attacks. That person is a rich man right now. Bush could care less about the people of America. Do the research!! The only reason why we are fighting overseas is so Bush and finish his father, Bush Sr's dirty work.

Alright... for starters yes it was Muslims who crashed into the twin towers. yes it was Muslims that danced in the streets with joy after it happened. No it wasn't just extremists who rubbed it in America's face even over here in Australia. Those of you who are still living in denial - it was everyday, general Muslims who were just as insensitive as those who hijacked the planes. Those of you talking about what Christians have done in the past and how they have rubbed it in the face of Muslim nations are right. We as Christians don't have any righ tto lord anything over any person. But girl you HAVE to realise that right now, the nation of Israel is flauting their power in the face of their Muslim neighbours and killing people maliciously - it's fact that I've heard first hand. Look at the other messages! There are tons of Christians bashing Muslims when we've been told not to within our faith. It's all about the log and the speck mate. Bless ya

Donot attack Muslims on the whole.
In the case of Iraq war, does the world sees it as "Christians attacking Muslims".
9/11 episode is masterminded by only misguided youths( not muslims in particular).
Islam is a religion of peace.
True mohmedian never entertains violence.
People behind 9/11 are barbarians in the name of Islam. They r not true followers of Prophet Mohmmed. They are not at all humans, just blood sucking drakulas.
For ur information:- I am an Indian Hindu.
I have lots of muslim friends, all are pious people.
Come to India you discover the Hindu Muslim good relationship & hormony.

Probably the same as the people who watched Christians murder the inhabitants of entire cities during the Crusades, the same as people who watched the Church allow millions to die during time of plague in middle ages Europe because they percieved medicine as a sin.
Same as the people who suffered at the hands of the Catholics during the Heugonet uprisings in Holland and France.
Churches of Christ have gallons of blood on their hands so dont cast the first stone.
The twin towers was a result of people reacting to Americas foreign policies in non American countries and interferance in matters that they should have stayed out.
By the way what religion was/is the Unibomber? Timothy MvVey? David Koresh? The Klan Sweetheart you realy need to look in your own backyard before you start on people you know F""" all about.

Personally I think bashing people for their beliefs is seriously demented.
And I cannot speak for those who do.
However I know for a fact that Muslims in the US do not bash Christians, only a few muslims from the 1.6 billion bother to do such a thing.
As for myself...I bash man god worshipping (ie Jesus worship) rather than bashing the humans who do the worship. Its the idea of worshipping a human being as if he was God that am totally against.
If my brothers and sisters are ignorant, and they tend to bash the people instead, then they need to readjust their stance to the christian faith.
On another note, bashing the fundamental thought pattern of worshipping a man god does not necessarily mean I do not respect the people who do it. I just seriously think they need to start thinking for themselves and support their faith with strong logic. Man gods do not exist. Period.

I dont call a bunch of extremists "our people" as you put it.
The Nazis were Christians, so was Apartheid South Africa, and the IRA when they were active, are these "your people" then? Did these Christians not know right from wrong?
Just because a tiny minority of people do something doesnt make everyone of the religion they come from bad people.
I married a Christian and the best man at my wedding was Jewish, so dont tar all of us with the same brush.

The muslims who claim to be "peaceful" will tell you they "condemn" the acts of 9/11, yet when you show them the verses in the Quran that command Muslims to "kill all the unbelievers", they defend the verses. ...Which obviously means they are defending the actions of the Muslim terrorists who were simply carrying out those verses. Peaceful muslims? Who are they kidding!?
