Let me tell you as someone who has been in both of your situations that depression does not come from the outside, it comes from you. I had periods in my life where I was depressed so to speak, however these were before I had acne. One day I made a decision in my life that there was no reason for me to be unhappy and so I'd stop being unhappy. There came a time where I realized that I breathed, loved, hated, learned, grew, and did everything in life just like everyone else. I realized that while my talents may not always be the ones most recognized that I had just as many as other people. I realized what I lacked in physical appearance I made up for in other ways. And this is when I started to understand that all people truly are created equal. Equal in the total amount of goodness we each have, its just split up in different ways. And once I realized that I was just as good and just as worthy as everyone else, all the negative external things in my life seemed to melt away.

Now I'm not saying that you should just ignore your skin disease. I had it, so I know its unsightly, sometimes painful, and downright annoying. No one wants acne, and it should be treated. Taking care of yourself is definatly important, so I believe you should work with your doctor. If he says the sun is causing it then try avoiding the sun, and if that doesn't help then go back. If your doctor isn't working out, see another one. But remember, when your skin is healthy, if you still have the same outlook on your self worth you're just going to let another outside factor dictate how you feel.

Well sweetheart, first go see another doctor, a good allergist or skin doctor. Your local teaching hospital, one that accepts interns from all branches of medicine, will have someone to help you I'm sure or, refer you to someone.
It's sounds like Rosacea and that not to hard to deter main but I'd rather you see someone instead of trying to deter main this on my own.
Maybe you had a slight sunburn when the doctor saw you and he used the to mistakenly deter main your condition.
You can see ten skin specialists and get several opinions and this is because there are so many conditions caused by so many problems today. There are just as many remedies.

You'll have to choose one that best suits you and stick with it. Good luck

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://cure-my-acne.info/3daycure/ that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

people are not happy here because we are inside of a machine. We get mad when we drive we get mad when we go out to eat we even get mad if our parents are too tough. As children grow up they are expected to learn their place in the world. As young adults we want to be grown up with none of the growing pains and as adults we miss the youth we once had. But good way to understand the reason for unhappiness is simple those on top can only come down and those at the bottom can only go up. We ask for cell phones and clothes that cost so much while people have no food or water because we learned that it is not our problem if my neighbor has nothing as long as i have what i want.

Have you tried Proactiv? It really works like the advertisements say. I'm 31, and I've had skin problems since I was a teen. It really works. My daughter is 11 and had started to have breakouts on her forehead. I started her to using Proactiv, and in about 2 weeks her face was clear. Try It !!!! It may take up to 3 weeks to see results, so be patient and continue to use it in the morning, and at night before you go to bed.

First know that what happened to you was ordered by God and since He is the most merciful, you have to believe that this is good for you even if you didn't understand why.
Second, People will not judge you based on the color of your skin but based on your manners and personality, so why bother?
Third, why don't you consider wearing Hijab like muslim women?

You need to go see a different doctor. Tell him/her about your skin problems and the depression it's causing. Someone should be able to help you, with both problems.

Don't go to any doctor, go to a Dermatologist who specializes in skin conditions and treatment of acne....costs a little more, but you're worth it!
