A firend of mine has been checking this product out via e-bay, it's supposed to be a herbal shampoo, confitioner and treatments for thin hair.

She's seen a starter pack which consists of a 125ml shampoo, conditioner and a weekly treatment but I said I would ask you all before she considered buying.

Any feedback would be great

Nioxin is a great line of products. I reccomend it to a lot of my clients who are experiencing hair loss/thinning. Just be careful if you are buying it anywhere other than a salon, ebay, drugstores, etc. they are not guaranteed if sold anywhere other than a salon. They may be watered down, or possibly even the wrong product all together. They usually run some pretty good sales through the winter months so call around to different salons and get some prices. I even took it at one point in time and I got the big liter bottles @ 75% off because they changed the packaging of the bottles. So call around first and make sure there aren't any sales. And by purchasing it in a salon you can always take it back for a full refund if it does not work for you.

I swear by my Nioxin, I have used it for about 6 months & my family has commented that my hair is noticeably thicker. It's not an herbal remedy, though, it's a medicated shampoo & conditioner & line of styling products.

My wife has very thin hair, especially after our daughter's birth. She went to a hair salon a few weeks ago and the lady made my wife buy this stuff after she saw the condition of her hair. My wife has been using it regularly for almost 3 weeks now and her hair is definitely thicker. She has noticed a major improvement and is quite happy. I've noticed that her hair looks thicker too. I would say give it a try. It's kind of expensive (I think she paid about $65 for the kit) but hey, It's only money! :-) Good luck

I used Nioxin for a year, did not notice any difference in my hair at all. It was very expensive, and I didn't care for the minty smell. It seems like others here have had better results than I did, so maybe you can try it for yourself to find out.
